A degree in Structural Engineering with at least 10 years relevant experience in major Oil & Gas Industry in similar position. Offshore design / construction experience is essential. Gulf experience is preferred. Engineer shall have previous experience of handling technical issues related to Brownfield works.
Lead Structural Engineer with large Engineering Company/Consultant. Must be fully familiar with international codes and standards to be applied during EPC phases of projects. He shall have handled EPC Engineer and the deliverables produced by them. In addition he shall be able to interpret Owners specifications and standards intended for the project and direct EPC Engineer accordingly. Further he shall have the thorough knowledge of softwares to be generally used during design and engineering phases of the work, to check the work of the EPC Engineer. His particular experience in projects done in the Middle East will be added qualification for the work.
