A degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 10 years relevant experience in major Oil & Gas Industry in similar position. Offshore design / construction experience is essential. Gulf experience is preferred. Engineer shall have previous experience of handling technical issues related to Brownfield works.
Besides extensive expertise in piping and engineering, familiarity in piping materials application and stress engineering is essential. Must be fully knowledgeable about codes, standards and recommended practices for this discipline. Experience with Consultant’s or Owner’s organization in the execution of major offshore projects. Such participation in projects in the Middle East is beneficial.
