Working within the Infrastructure Division as a Senior Mechanical Engineer you will be expected to undertake the design of Mechanical and Electrical systems and undertake project construction supervision for pumping stations, sewerage treatment plants, water treatment plants and distribution networks.
Qualified candidates will be required to demonstrate experience in the following:
·Proven experience in coordinating and monitoring all mechanical and electrical design aspects across disciplines in order to achieve compliance with the specifications and quality requirements.
·Knowledge of pump station design, application analysis, NPSH determinations, performance determination and testing.
·Proven ability in the preparation of operation and maintenance manuals, budget estimates and fee estimates.
·Demonstrated ability in ensuring QMS procedures and standards are maintained.
Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering within a minimum of 12 years post graduate experience. Masters qualifications will be viewed favorably.
Working knowledge of Kuwait or GCC utilities design criteria.
It is expected that successful candidates will have practical exposure to relevant computer software such as Water Hammer.
Registration of a recognized Professional Engineering Board such as PE (Professional Engineer) or C.Eng (Chartered Engineer) is highly desirable.
The Infrastructure division provides engineering consultancy services in the areas of water, wastewater, drainage, solid waste, highways, transportation, structural engineering and environmental impact assessments.
